Ingredients

2 slices of soft white bread

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon mascarpone cheese

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mascarpone cheese, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Lay one slice of white bread on a cutting board and spread half of the cream mixture evenly over it.

Neatly arrange half of the sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese spread. Press down gently to secure them in place.

Spread the remaining cream mixture over the second slice of bread, and carefully place it on top of the strawberries to form a sandwich.

If you'd like, trim the edges of the sandwich for a cleaner look, then cut the sandwich into halves or quarters based on your preference.

For an extra touch, dust with powdered sugar and garnish with a few fresh mint leaves before serving.
