Ingredients

1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, melted

1 1/2 cups (300g) brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar (mix 2 tablespoons sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.

Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined; be careful not to overmix.

Pour two-thirds of the blondie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading evenly.

Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter evenly.

Top it with the remaining blondie batter, spreading gently to cover the cinnamon sugar layer without disturbing it too much.

Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before lifting them out and transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, cut them into squares or bars to serve.
