Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar, packed

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Sea salt flakes, for topping

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.

Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs, one by one, followed by the vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a handful for later.

Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the brownie layer.

Pour the remaining brownie batter over the caramel and gently spread to seal in the caramel layer. Finish by drizzling the remaining caramel sauce on top and sprinkle reserved chocolate chips.

Using a butter knife or a skewer, swirl the caramel into the brownie batter without fully mixing it in.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan. Just before serving, sprinkle sea salt flakes over the top for that perfect salted caramel finish.

                      Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 12-16

                        - Presentation Tips: Cut the brownies into squares and serve on a decorative platter. Drizzle with extra caramel sauce and sprinkle with sea salt before serving for an elegant touch.
