Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled (mild or spicy, based on preference)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Optional: Chopped fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare Filling: In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Roll Out Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Fill the Crescents: Spoon a tablespoon of the sausage and cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle. Roll up each crescent starting from the wide end, tucking in the edges as you go to contain the filling.

Top with Cheese: Place the rolled crescents on the baking sheet and sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the tops.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and cooked through.

Garnish: Once out of the oven, let them cool for a couple of minutes. Optionally, garnish with chopped fresh cilantro or green onions for an extra flavor boost.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 8 crescents

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the crescents warm on a platter, accompanied by a small bowl of salsa or sour cream for dipping.
