Ingredients

2 cans (16 oz each) of refrigerated biscuit dough

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon lemon zest

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

A pinch of salt

1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

2 tablespoons milk (or more as needed)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan generously with cooking spray or butter.

In a medium bowl, combine granulated sugar, lemon zest, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and set aside.

Open the cans of biscuit dough and separate each biscuit. Cut each biscuit into quarters for easier mixing.

In a large mixing bowl, take the quartered biscuits and add the melted butter, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.

Toss the biscuit pieces in the butter mixture until they are evenly coated.

Add the sugar and lemon zest mixture to the coated biscuits, tossing again to evenly coat.

Layer the biscuit pieces in the prepared bundt pan, making sure to sprinkle any remaining sugar mixture on top.

Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and cooked through. A toothpick inserted should come out clean.

While the monkey bread is baking, prepare the glaze by mixing the powdered sugar with milk in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more milk if needed.

Allow the monkey bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a serving platter. Drizzle the glaze over the top while it’s still warm.
