4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

1/4 cup olive oil

2 lemons (zested and juiced)

4 cloves of garlic, minced

2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary)

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, oregano, salt, and pepper. This mixture will be your marinade.

    Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).

      Preheat the Grill or Oven: If grilling, preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If baking, preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

        Cook the Chicken:

          - Grilling: Remove chicken from marinade and let the excess drip off. Place on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

            - Baking: Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and golden.

              Rest and Serve: Once cooked, allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes. Slice into strips for a nicer presentation.

                Garnish and Enjoy: Serve the chicken on a platter, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon slices for an extra pop of color and flavor.
