Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup pickles, diced

1 cup ketchup

1 bag (20 oz) frozen french fries

¾ cup sour cream

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sauté the chopped onion until it becomes translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked, breaking it up into crumbles as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and remove from heat.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with diced pickles, ketchup, and sour cream. Stir until fully combined.

In a greased casserole dish, spread the beef mixture evenly on the bottom.

Layer the frozen french fries over the beef mixture, ensuring the fries are evenly distributed.

Top the fries with shredded cheddar cheese, ensuring full coverage.

Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the fries are golden brown.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, before serving.

                        Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 50 minutes | Servings: 6

Presentation Tips: Serve the casserole hot directly from the dish with additional ketchup and mustard on the side for drizzling. Consider adding a side of coleslaw for a fresh crunch.
