Ingredients

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice level)

2 pounds steak (ribeye, flank, or sirloin recommended)

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Whisk until well blended.

Add minced garlic, Dijon mustard, grated ginger, black pepper, smoked paprika, dried thyme, and red pepper flakes to the bowl. Mix thoroughly to create a smooth marinade.

Place the steak in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is evenly coated.

Seal the bag (or cover the dish) and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor absorption.

Preheat your grill or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off (discard the used marinade).

Grill or sear the steak for 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on thickness and desired doneness.

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 2 hours (plus marination) | Servings: 4-6

                  - Presentation Tips: Slice the steak and arrange on a large platter. Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or rosemary and serve with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a vibrant, appetizing display.
