Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 medium apple, diced (preferably a sweet variety like Fuji or Honeycrisp)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Optional toppings: chopped nuts (like walnuts or pecans), additional apple slices, or raisins

Instructions

In a medium bowl or jar, mix together the rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, ground cinnamon, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine all the ingredients well.

Add the diced apple to the oat mixture, stirring gently to ensure the apple is evenly distributed throughout.

Cover the bowl or jar tightly with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.

In the morning, remove the oats from the refrigerator. If the mixture is too thick, you can stir in a little more almond milk until the desired consistency is reached.

Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more maple syrup if desired.

Top with your choice of chopped nuts, additional apple slices, or raisins for added texture and flavor before serving.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: Overnight (minimum 4 hours) | Servings: 2

                - Presentation Tips: Serve in clear jars or bowls to showcase the beautiful layers and toppings. Drizzle a little extra maple syrup on top for a touch of sweetness and add a sprinkle of cinnamon for a decorative flair.
